Course
Objectives:
· to introduce students to
the theory, fundamentals and tools of communication
· to develop in them vital
communication skills integral to personal, social and professional interactions
· to develop the ability to
share thoughts, emotions and ideas through various means of communication: both
verbal and non-verbal
· to focus on developing an
interactive mode of teaching-learning process
· to focus on various
dimensions of communication skills, for instance, speaking skills, social
interactions in professional situations such as interviews, group discussions,
reading skills, writing skills etc.
