section of our constitution.

arising out of it.

(a) State how will you protect your
Fundamental Rights in case of its violation.
Ans:
Fundamental Rights provide standards of conduct, citizenship, justice and fair
play. They serve as a check on the government. Various social, religious,
economic and political problems in our country make Fundamental Rights
important. In our Constitution, Fundamental Rights are enumerated in Part III
from Article 14 to 32. These rights are justifiable.
Justifiable:
Justifiable means that if these rights are violated by the government or anyone
else, the individual has the right to approach the Supreme Court or High Courts
for the protection of his/her Fundamental Rights.
(b) Examine
the statement "Caste has influenced Indian Politics". Give Suitable
examples to support your view point. (See Lesson-22)

Ans: Various measures to ensure corruption free society are:
a) Breaking
the nexus between politicians, bureaucrats and criminals.

cost-effective administration of justice.
c) Setting up
of Public interest litigation courts at the national, state and local levels.
d) Making
right to information more effective.
e) Strengthening
law enforcement agencies in terms of autonomy, skills, attitudinal change and

of the properties of the corrupt immediately after the charges are framed. Such
a property can be released only after the person is proved innocent.

Solution: It is now a well known fact that the whole world is facing some serious environmental problem. Similarly me and members of my locality are not the exceptions. So, I have visited 20 persons of my locality and try to get their views on present environmental problems. They also have given me some suggestions which can help in reducing the environmental problems. Given below the list of 20 persons to whom I visited with their problems and suggestions:

From the above survey, I find the more
person are of the opinion that road traffic is a big problem of our locality.
Our locality is very near to NH – 37 due to which there is too much sound and
air pollution. Also highway roads are less thick which creates traffic
problems.
To solve these problems some people
suggested that proper bye-pass is to be given for large vehicles and steps must
also be taken to provide proper four way road.
(b)
Undertake a survey of 20 families in your neighbourhood and make two headings.
(i) Make a list of the Directive
principles of state policy (DPSP) related to woman.
(ii) Challenges in implementation of
the above mentioned as in section (i). What conclusions do you draw on the
basis of this survey. Also cover the following issues:
(i) Do you find Directive Principles
of state policy (DPSP) related to woman?
(ii) Illustrate major challenges
before implementation of directive principles of state policy concerning women.
